protein Banana Bread

  • 1 ¼Cups Rolled Oats – Turned into Oat Flour
  • ½Cup Sweetener
  • 3Scoops Protein Powder – Vanilla or Banana
  • ½Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 ½Teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 3Teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
  • 2Ounces Nuts – Pecans, Walnuts, Almonds, etc
  • 2Large Egg Whites
  • 2Ounces Milk Substitute – or Milk
  • 3Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 3Medium Bananas
  • ½Cup Unsweetened Apple Sauce

Instructions

  • Turn your Rolled Oats into Oat Flour by blending or processing them until they look like flour
  • Take out a bowl and mix your dry ingredients in it
  • Take out another bowl and mix your wet ingredients in it
  • Slowly mix your dry ingredients into your wet ingredients
  • Coat a bread pan with some non-stick cooking spray
  • Bake your bread on 350F/176C for around 35-40 minutes

Ground Beef/Turkey Chili

Ingredients:

  • 1lb lean ground beef (90/10) or ground turkey
  • 1 pkg McCormick Mild Chili seasoning
  • 1 – 14 oz can of Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 – 14 oz. can of Kidney Beans
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese (1 oz per serving, if desired)

Instructions:

Brown the meat.

Pour in cans of tomatoes and kidney beans.  Add chili seasoning packet and stir.

Bring to a boil and reduce the heat to medium-low, and simmer for 10 mins.

Let sit for 5 mins to thicken.

Add onions and up to 1oz of cheese, per serving, if desired.  ENJOY!

Banana Oat Breakfast Muffins

2 mashed bananas
2.5 cups instant oats (I used a food processor to grind them up)
1c plain Greek yogurt (I used vanilla)
2 eggs
1tsp vanilla
1tsp Cinnamon
1/3c honey
1/2 tsp baking soda
1.5 tsp baking powder

Mix all ingredients, pour the batter into baking cups and put them in oven 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Ours were done in about 17.  The recipe made 12 muffins.

You can add fruit to these, also, just don’t forget to add the calories to your count.
